Title: Director of Strategic Sourcing

Summary: A leading defence manufacturing company is looking to bring a Director of Strategic Souricng to its team in the Muskegon, Michigan area. With an annual revenue of over $750M +, this client is a global leader for high-efficiency propulsion and drivetrain technology for defense, maritime, and land military vehicles. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating strategic sourcing initiatives, building and maintaining supplier relationships, and leading cross functional teams.

The Director of Strategic Sourcing Responsibilities:

• Execute and manage strategic sourcing strategies.
• Develop and maintain business relationships with global supply chain partners.
• Integrate and align streamlining processes for material cost reduction systems.
• Manage supply chain budgets with cross functional teams.
• Determine metrics, KPI's, and report sourcing project results.
• Negotiate long term contract agreements with suppliers.

The Director of Strategic Sourcing Qualifications:

• Bachelors with 8+ years experience in a related field OR Graduate Degree with 6+ years in a related field.

• Lead training sessions with teams on FAR/DFAR regulations.

• Experience with defense supply chains (Army and Navy) preferred.
