We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Engineer with a strong background in Quality Control. The position is based in New Jersey and would be for a 12 month contract.
Responsibilities:
- Define and implement quality control techniques to verify the quality of raw materials, intermediate and end products.
- Accurately perform sample analysis to meet the requirements of the laboratory plan and area KPIs.
- Perform routine calibration and both corrective and preventative maintenance of laboratory instruments, requesting any instrument parts and consumables required.
- Bring discrepancies, deviations or non-conformance in testing or work practice to the attention of QC management.
- Support the investigation of OOS/OOT/atypical results, deviations and QC incidents generated in the QC Laboratories.
- Assist with internal and external audits as required.
- Adhere to the laboratory testing schedule in order to achieve an efficient QC system.
