Experience/Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in a high-speed Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) manufacturing environment.
- 3-5+ years of experience in implementing Integrated Work Systems (IWS), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
- Proven experience leading high-performance work teams in a production setting.
- Strong background in operations leadership , with a career trajectory aiming toward Plant Manager .
- Expertise in start-up, project management , and manufacturing systems and processes commissioning.
Summary:
In this critical leadership role, you will collaborate closely with the Site Leader to develop and implement a strategic master plan that aligns with business objectives and loss analysis findings. You will lead the deployment and execution of Continuous Improvement (CI) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) processes, ensuring they are fully integrated into the plant's daily operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving loss elimination efforts at the daily, weekly, and monthly levels using CI/TPM methodologies.
- You are acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Continuous Improvement and TPM principles, continually enhancing your knowledge and that of others.
- Collaborating with the Training Department to build capabilities across all levels of the organization, ensuring a readiness to adopt new ways of working.
- Serving as a primary coach to ensure standards adherence and reinforce behaviors necessary for sustained success in CI/TPM processes.
- Leading site planning and execution for global packaging transformation initiatives using start-up management tools and methodologies.
- Promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration across the facility, fostering a high-performance work environment.
- Teaching and mentoring other facilities on leveraging CI/TPM methodologies to achieve sustainable, long-term improvements.
- Continuously monitoring and analyzing performance metrics, staffing levels, and downtime to maximize operational efficiency, optimize resource utilization, and reduce losses.
