What you’ll do as a Maintenance Supervisor:

• Incorporates safety and health in all jobs and tasks
• Supervise the maintenance crew and provide production support
• Create work orders and conduct preventative maintenance tasks including: lubricating, replacing work components, inspections, and forklift maintenance
• Responsible for installing new equipment and troubleshooting problems
• Identify and address operational issues to minimize their impact on production.
• Cooperate with all departments to ensure a coordinated work relationship
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records such as timecards, downtime records, and absentee records

What you need to be a Maintenance Supervisor:

• 3+ years of maintenance experience or a combination of education and training
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively before groups, customers/vendors, or employees of the organization
• Basic mechanical experience including fabrication, welding, plant operations, and safety regulations (FDA, OSHA, and USDA)
