One of the worlds leading Food & Beverage companies is looking for a Plant Human Resources Manager at one of their flagship plants in California.
This business is the undoubtable global leader in their product area, they are currently on a mission to rapidly expand their US business and need an established Plant Human Resources Manager to help redefine and grow this flagship plant.
This particular plant is looking to increase its headcount by 15% in the next 6 months, so you would be a key part in furthering the growth of this particular site.
As a Plant Human Resources Manager the key responsibilities are:
- Oversees and participates in the recruitment, selection, and retention of all plant employees. Partners with Plant Leadership to maintain staffing levels according to business needs and the annual operating budget. Oversees the plant orientation/onboarding program for newly hired employees in partnership with the plant management team.
- Managing site payroll administration.
- Leading HR initiatives to help deliver business and site needs.
- Building a strong relationship between the management team and plant associates.
- Working on coaching, leadership and development programmes for all levels.
- Manages employee complaints and issues to help develop a better workplace for all.
- Management of the complete site HR team.
- Working with the corporate HR and L&D team to identify training and development needs for both site and wider business.
Requirements:
- Experience of working in a Human Resources role at a manufacturing site.
- Food & Drink manufacturing experience is ideal but not essential.
- Management experience of a HR team.
- Proven success of developing employee relationships in a manufacturing plant.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Administration, Business, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience of California State-Law and how that affects recruitment/employment in the state.
