TMC Transportation has an immediate full-time opening for a Yard Manager working out of our office in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Oversee the day-to-day loading operations at a customer location as a representative of TMC Transportation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Responsible for the accuracy and reconciliation of securement inventory
• Responsible for managing a pool of trailers to ensure the availability for customer loading purposes
• Inspecting trailers and having damaged trailers to be serviced
• Communicating and coordinating with operations and maintenance personnel
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma required
• Transportation and/or prior loading experience preferred
• Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment and tolerate stress
• Ability to negotiate, plan and organize, has strong attention to detail, and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
