Medical Affairs Manager
Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid)
Role Overview:
The Medical Affairs Manager is responsible for developing and implementing Medical Affairs strategies for the Cardiovascular portfolio of a leading Medical Device company. The role involves collaborating and liaising with HCPs to improve Medical Device usage and disease state education and generate strategic insights for the organization. The Medical Affairs Manager will lead the planning and execution of scientific symposia, attend relevant conferences, and develop relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in relevant disease areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with KOLs to promote and disseminate clinical data.
- Develop and execute Medical Affairs marketing strategies.
- Lead strategic planning for and in-person execution of symposia and educational events at major conferences.
- Act as a liaison for HCP trainings; maintain communication with HCPs to ensure they have the latest clinical data.
- Support evidence planning and generation in collaboration with internal teams (Clinical, HEOR, Market Access, R&D, etc.).
- Support clinical trial execution, engaging with physicians and generating insights.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or healthcare field (master's or doctoral degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in: Medical Affairs, Medical Education, Clinical Education, Clinical Marketing, Medical Communications, Clinical Communications, or related discipline.
- Strong HCP engagement experience with proven ability to liaise with KOLs.
- Proficient in interpreting and communicating clinical data to various stakeholders.
- Experience in: Cardiovascular, Peripheral, or Interventional fields.
- Willing to travel up to 30%.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Total annual compensation: $155,000 - $185,000 ((base salary + annual bonus).
