Position: Regional Transportation Manager

Location: Wayne, NJ

Salary: Six Figure Base + Bonus

Description:

We're working with an industry leading distributor in search of a high caliber Regional Transportation Manager near Wayne, NJ. This is a company well known for their growth (adding multiple DC's per year), upward mobility, and reputation of a strong culture.

This individual will be responsible for a team of 7 supervisors and 85+ company drivers across 8 locations including NJ, NY, PA, and CT.

Responsibilities:

- Plans, directs, and oversees all transportation functions

- Train and coach supervisors

- Develop relationships with drivers and customers

- Oversees weekly, monthly and yearly P&L statements

- Ensures on-time delivery of products and services

- Ensures transportation operations meets or exceeds safety and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent management experience in the logistics field (4+ years)

- Strong knowledge of dispatch operations, transportation management and logistics solutions with a broad knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
