The Job
Hyperframe seeks an attentive, organized, and engaged Logistics Planner & Purchaser. In this role, you will schedule all activities that are needed to prep, manufacture, and deploy Hyperframe’s prefabricated wall framing products to commercial construction sites. This includes (1) scheduling pre-construction field operations including laser scanning and robotic layout printing, (2) purchasing raw materials for production, (3) creating the manufacturing schedule, (4) scheduling outbound shipment, and (5) scheduling customer training. You will play a pivotal role in helping Hyperframe achieve exceptional customer outcomes.
Duties
- Coordinate a master schedule for Hyperframe’s field operations, manufacturing operations, and shipping operations.
- Continuously adjust the schedule based on changes in customer expectations, construction schedules, travel times, shipping times, inventory availability, and plant availability.
- Clearly communicate the schedule to all relevant stakeholders, including sales personnel, field operations engineers, and production management.
- Provide daily production plans to all production shift supervisors.
- Plan travel for Hyperframe’s field operations personnel.
- Purchase all raw material inventory needed to meet the manufacturing schedule.
- Book outbound shipments of finished goods.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong basic arithmetic skills
- Proficient with scheduling software (e.g. Gantt charts)
- More than 2 years’ experience with planning and/or purchasing
- Ability to work 100% onsite in San Leandro, CA
