I am representing a nonprofit corporation that acts as a consortium manager from the US government. Their goal is to speed up the deployment of technology to the nation and warfighter, while also reducing the government's procurement costs. They are seeking someone with at least ten years of contracts experience.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, Other Transaction Agreements and Sub-agreements, teaming and joint venture agreements, claims, audit and regulatory responses.
- Maintain cognizance of relevant federal procurement laws and regulations, pending changes in legislation, and industry trends impacting the company's operations.
- Identify legal and regulatory risks facing the company and develop strategies to mitigate such risks, including the implementation of effective risk management tools and processes.
