Key Responsibilities:

• Client Representation : Represent injured workers in all aspects of their workers' compensation claims, from initial consultation through resolution.
• Case Preparation & Strategy : Review case files, medical records, and other relevant evidence; develop case strategies tailored to individual clients' needs.
• Legal Research & Counsel : Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with state workers' compensation laws and offer clients advice on legal options, benefits, and potential outcomes.
• Negotiations : Negotiate settlements with insurance companies, employers, and opposing counsel to secure fair compensation for clients.
• Litigation : Represent clients at hearings, depositions, and trials. Prepare and file legal documents, including petitions, motions, and appeals.
• Settlement & Dispute Resolution : Work to resolve disputes through mediation or settlement conferences, aiming for timely and favorable outcomes for clients.
• Documentation & Compliance : Ensure accurate, timely filing of legal documents and adherence to state and federal workers' compensation regulations.
• Client Communication : Maintain regular communication with clients to provide case updates, explain legal procedures, and answer any questions they may have.
