We are looking for an associate attorney for our Oklahoma City office. The qualified candidate will have at least five (5) years' experience in family law practice.
The Attorney may be asked to involve themselves in all aspects of family law matters, including, but not limited to, document review and retention, drafting pleadings or other legal documents, performing legal and fact research, corresponding with clients and other counsel or parties.
Additionally, the Attorney may:
Advise and represent clients in courts, before government agencies, and in private legal matters.
Communicate with clients and others.
Conduct research and analysis of legal problems.
Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
Present facts in writing and verbally to their clients or others and argue on their behalf.
Prepare and file legal documents, such as lawsuits, appeals, wills, contracts, and deeds.
Assist or lead a team in preparation, whether for a litigation or transactional case.
The Attorney may, from time to time, be required to travel outside the office to meet with clients, witnesses, co-counsel or opposing counsel, or to attend meetings or hearings related to a case.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of clients, attorneys and staff to provide information with ordinary courtesy and tact.
Ability to communicate in person, by e-mail and telephone to provide information with ordinary courtesy and tact.
Work occasionally requires a high level of mental effort and strain while producing a high volume of information performing other essential duties.
Juris Doctor from an accredited university is required.
