Engineering Manager

We are seeking an accomplished, hands-on Engineering Manager to oversee our engineering team specializing in industrial tank level gauging, control systems, and bulk storage applications. The ideal candidate will not only lead projects but will also manage their own technical projects. This person must have a strong foundation in embedded design with extensive experience in instrumentation and sensors, encompassing both analog and digital design.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, while actively participating in projects to ensure effective hands-on involvement.
  • Oversee and contribute to the design and implementation of embedded systems, integrating analog and digital components within industrial applications.
  • Manage all phases of engineering projects, including planning, execution, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with product management, manufacturing, and quality assurance to align engineering goals with business objectives.
  • Drive innovation in product development by researching and implementing new technologies and methodologies in level gauging and control systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, schematics, and operational guidelines.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and best practices within the engineering team.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field); Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in engineering management within the manufacturing sector, with a focus on industrial tank level gauging, control systems, and embedded systems.
  • Strong, hands-on experience in embedded design, instrumentation, sensors, and both analog and digital design.
  • Proven track record in successfully leading complex engineering projects and managing teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities under pressure.
  • Proficient in engineering tools and software (e.g., CAD, embedded programming languages).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptable and collaborative, with a commitment to maintaining a dynamic work environment and prioritizing changing needs.
