Job Title: Insurance Defense Attorney

Position Overview:

A prominent law firm in San Diego is seeking a skilled Insurance Defense Attorney to join its team. The successful candidate will manage and defend complex insurance claims and litigation matters, representing insurers and their policyholders in a range of cases, including personal injury, property damage, and liability disputes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal representation for insurers in insurance defense litigation, including case assessment, strategy, and resolution.
• Draft, review, and manage pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court documents.
• Conduct depositions, engage in discovery processes, and participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
• Negotiate settlements and provide effective case management for optimal client outcomes.
• Analyze complex legal and insurance issues and develop strategic defenses in high-stakes cases.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California State Bar.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance defense or related litigation.
