Your daily role
- Manage and coordinate all activities related to the Lebanon Distribution Center
- Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of finished and bulk goods
- Ensure safe and efficient handling of all materials
- Adhere to Corporate policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Comply with Food Security Policies and Customer Service requirements
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct warehousing activities to help meet the distribution center’s objectives, which include safety, quality, customer service levels, volumes, and costs.
- Maintain accurate inventory, cycle counts, and receiving/shipping records
- Work on scheduling, purchasing, and shipping options to help improve customer service, and help reduce costs.
- Counsel subordinates through effective, two-way communication sessions to promote their development.
- Assure that all work areas are maintained in a satisfactory sanitary condition to comply with all customer, state, and federal regulations like HACCP, Food Safety, GMP, and all other Regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare Budget information for the warehouse, assist in cost analytics and prepare capital improvement suggestions.
Your profile
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a distribution leadership role
- Associates Degree preferred
- Ideal to have experience working in a warehouse environment related to food
- Skilled at communicating - verbal written and online
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and google suit
