The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and installations of refrigeration systems, coolers, air compressors, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and apparatus, Powered Material Handling Equipment (PMHE), basic maintenance, repairs and installations for tools and equipment. They also maintain, replace, build, adjust and modify the facilities, buildings and the grounds according to a set schedule, and in emergency and non-emergency situations. This position oversees the maintenance staff, coordinates maintenance work, provides maintenance trainee training, and relieves maintenance personnel for breaks. They must observe all safety regulations and ensures quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process.
Duties |
Oversees and provides guidance to the maintenance crew to ensure safety regulations, procedures, quality standards and budget are met. |
Supervises maintenance associates to include, but not limited to: staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution. |
Coordinates Maintenance work. Provides Maintenance Trainee training. Relieves Maintenance personnel for breaks. |

Performs general housekeeping duties and keep maintenance area. Secure all equipment, as needed. Complete all necessary reports and paperwork. |
Functions as a team member within the department and organization, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company. Operates powered material handling equipment as needed. |
Qualification:
Education: 2-year Associates Degree
Required Experience: 2 - 4 Years
Experience in maintenance related to warehouse and / or production environment.
Experience in maintenance warehouse and / or
production environment within foodservice industry.
Supervisory experience is a must.
Preferred Professional Certification(s): Yes Specifically: OSHA Forklift operator certificate; ammonia
refrigerant training and certification.
