About you
As the Senior Vice President, Capital Markets, you will work in partnership with the President, Capital Markets | Canada, to execute Colliers’ revenue and market share growth strategy. The Senior Vice President, Capital Markets, will assist in sourcing, developing, and maintaining client relationships, as well as overseeing areas of valuation and financial analysis. Additionally, you will work on the preparation of relevant material for pitches, proposals, Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), and all other client presentations.
In this role, you will…
Work closely with the President, Capital Markets and Senior Leaders to lead business development and client relationship management, maintaining and expanding the client base by identifying new business opportunities.
Manage and lead Junior members of the Capital Markets team in the preparation and completion of proposals, presentations, CIMs and all other ad hoc projects.
Provide effective team and project management, including overseeing project completion timelines, and ensuring client needs are met.
Develop strategies for pitches; will also be involved in presenting pitches to existing and potential clients.
Assist in the coordination and growth of a streamlined Capital Markets | Canada platform.
Collaborate with Colliers Brokerage Advisors to help enhance their capabilities and provide added benefit to the client.
Be an industry expert at industry events and forums to grow personal and company exposure in the marketplace.
What you’ll bring
Real Estate license is required, in addition to 8 - 10 years of experience in a similar role within commercial real estate.
Relationships with Investors including REITs, Public Corporations, Pension Funds, and other large Institutional entities.
Leadership, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills. Must be enterprising.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
Firm grasp and understanding of business needs, client needs and the cultural/financial realities of organizations and the marketplace. Must be a strong leader.
Bachelor’s degree, MBA or advanced degree in finance, economics, real estate, or related field is an asset.
