Job Details All travelers are required to work two of the three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day) based on facility policy. Calling out on a holiday may result in immediate termination. Travelers are expected to not request time off during the period of December 26 - 31 to help ensure staffing needs are met during the holiday season. Job role includes managing acuity levels of at least 3:1 in a stepdown unit with ventilator experience required. Candidates must have experience with trauma related injuries such as head injuries, spinal cord injuries, and surgical care that are common on the unit. Large teaching hospital experience is required. Epic experience is also necessary. Job Requirements Must have at least 1 year of ICU IICU stepdown experience. Must have critical care experience. Locals accepted only if over distance restrictions. Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to cancel 1 shift per 2 weeks. Experience: 1 yr required. Schedule Information Must have availability for a full 13-week contract. Pending License not accepted. All RTO must be included at time of submission. Unit Specific Information Must have previous ICU/IICU stepdown experience with acuity of at least 3:1 Must have ventilator experience.
