St. Luke s Medical Group is seeking a full-time BC/BE Palliative Care Physician to expand an existing team in the Palliative Care Center at St. Luke s Hospital.
The Center s focus is to provide and coordinate palliative care across the entire spectrum of patients, including oncology, cardiology, neurology and nephrology.
- Active education about palliative care across the medical community at St. Luke s Hospital
- Coordination with St. Luke s Hospice Program with potential for integrated coverage
Will join a Board certified Palliative Care physician to provide care primarily in an outpatient clinic setting
Includes inpatient consults at St. Luke s Hospital where a majority of inpatients are treated by an employed hospitalist group; current Palliative Care physician serves as Director, Palliative Care Services at St. Luke s Hospital
Supported by a multidisciplinary team including an advanced nurse practitioner, nurse clinician, social workers, chaplains and other allied health personnel
Call one weekend per month and alternating with current physician during the week
