Job Summary:
Seeking a Psychiatry Associate Program Director to assist with a 31-resident program in Nashville, TN.
Qualified Candidates: - Board Certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- Tennessee licensure or ability to obtain
- DEA with full prescriptive authority
- Experience in research desired but not required
- Commitment to providing high quality, evidenced based patient care
- Previous participation as an active faculty member in an ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program or graduate medical education administrative experience is highly desired
Responsibilities: - Practice and teach full-spectrum adult psychiatry
- 100% outpatient
- Provide clinical supervision of residents
- Experience in research desired but not required
- Commitment to providing high quality, evidenced based patient care
- Provide clinical supervision of residents
- Serve as an advisor and role model
- Teach didactics and lead curriculum development
- Commitment to teach psychiatric residents and shape the future of psychiatry
- 10 hrs. per week dedicated to the APD role
- 30 hrs. per week dedicated to outpatient clinical work
