Job Description

AdventHealth Primary Care Network is seeking a board-certified family or internal medicine physician to float to existing practices throughout East Florida (Palm Coast, Daytona, Ormond, New Smyrna, Port Orange). This physician will receive full benefits!

At work, you will experience:
    • Work Life Balance Schedule. Shared call. No weekend office hours
    • Shared Call. Practice call only. No hospital rounding. Nurse triage support for call coverage
    • Patient Census. Expect to see between 20-22 patients per day utilizing the efficiencies of EPIC, electronic medical record.
    • Dedicated Admin Time. 4 hours weekly
    • Clinic Support Team. Includes one dedicated medical assistant (MA), front office staff, and a practice administrator

    • Clinical Utilization. You will have the opportunity to practice medicine as it should be and utilize all of your clinical skills-preventive care, chronic disease management, acute care, and office-based procedures.

The ideal candidate will have:

    • Experience with or willingness to supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APRN & PA-C
    • Proficiency with minor office-based procedures including, but not limited to joint injections, and minor dermatologic procedure
    • Board Certification in Family or Internal Medicine (or Board Eligibility within 3 years of completing a US based residency program
    • Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure
    • Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)
