Job DescriptionRate of pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hourThe Glenview at Pelican Bay is a premier continuing care retirement community located in beautiful, sunny Naples, Florida.We are currently considering candidates for a hospitality focused Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA's). Candidates must have CNA experience and a desire to join a great team dedicated to providing outstanding and superior hospitality.We currently have the following shifts available: Part-time / PRN, every weekend and every other weekend.Certified Nursing Assistants at The Glenview at Pelican Bay enable clients to live safely in their place of residence under the supervision of a registered nurse. This is accomplished by assisting clients with activities of daily living while maintaining their current level of independence and function and protecting their clients rights and dignity at all times.Certified Nursing Assistants will assist our clients with services including but not limited to:•Communication skills including giving report to on-coming caregiver•Observation, reporting and documentation of client status and the care of services provided•Reading and recording temperature, pulse and respiration•Basic infection control procedures•Recognition of emergencies and applicable follow-up within the Home Health Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant scope of performance•Physical, emotional and developmental characteristics of the population served, including the need for respect for the client, his privacy and property•Appropriate and safe techniques in personal hygiene and grooming, including skin care; oral hygiene and care of dentures•Safe transfer techniques, including use of appropriate equipment and ambulation.Skills/Qualifications:State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license and CPR Certification. Possesses the skills and job-related knowledge to perform the above functions.
