Essential Duties andResponsibilities:
Consistently demonstrates superior customer serviceskills to external and internal guests by displaying Spotlight on Successbehaviors and FOCUS skills. Maintains upbeat, positive attitude, friendly andhelpful demeanor, positive energy and enthusiasm from one interaction to thenext. Utilizes smiles and frequent eyecontact and friendly tone of voice to project warmth and friendliness. Creates an atmosphere of luck and celebratescustomer wins. Is ready to serve andwell informed of daily facility hours of operation, promotional programs andany other relevant valuable guest information; builds relationships by greetingguests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting. Anticipates needs of the guest and provides fast, flawless service.Executes all service programs to assure prioritization of service to very bestguests. Checks for satisfaction andproperly uses the Service Recovery process to resolve problems when theyexist. Promotes Total Rewards programsand Total Rewards registration and membership. Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting. Promotes Harrah's and always projects Harrah's in a positive light to guests.
Cash and sell bet tickets to the public. Processes customer requests for credit card cash advances an personal check cashing using network-wide computer system. Rapidly and accurately disburses approved funds to customers. Provide good public relationsin the form of friendly, courteous, responsive, and accurate assistance during all customer service transactions. Provide educational assistance to new patrons. Ensures compliance with the federal currencytransaction reporting requirements. Performs other duties as assigned. Promotes outstanding customerrelations. Ensures compliance with PAHarness Racing Commission regulations and other gaming regulations asrequired. Performs other duties as assigned. Ensures adherence to departmental/company policies and procedures. Implements the departmental internal controls and security.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
Very strong customer relations skills. Solid understanding of the pari-mutuel customer's motivations and expectations. Previous pari-mutuel mutual clerk experiencepreferred.
Isfluent on Microsoft Office software products, and is viewed as an outstandingteam player.
Is able to work in smokefilled environment, and is able to sit and stand for prolonged periods oftime.
Must be able to obtain a Harnesslicense through the state of Pennsylvania .
