The Packaging Producer manages packaging, labeling, and print documentation for Apple products worldwide to ensure that high-quality printing and finishing is developed, produced, and shipped on time. Manage overall packaging design with cross-functional partners, including: Marcom Packaging, Product Marketing, Designers, Packaging Engineering, Industrial Design, Purchasing, Localization, Operations, in-region local teams and suppliers.
**Description**
The packaging team is responsible for working cross-functionally to produce amazing packaging for every new Apple product, and managing the life cycle of existing products. In this role you will specify all materials to support your product lines, scope project needs, ensure all components are manufacturable, and everything is delivered on time. You thrive in a creative environment, learn quickly and can accommodate rapid change. You have an appreciation for quality, communicate clearly, and have patience for the processboth engineering and design. You are and expert at building relationships with and influencing teams, and with outside suppliers and vendors to achieve exceptional results.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ 7 years of relevant experience in project management.
+ Experience in print techniques and manufacturing processes.
+ Proficient in Mac applications; database management systems; Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat; and the Microsoft Office suite.

+ Expertise in program and project management; ability to manage multiple competing projects and priorities, track deliverables, and develop schedules with functional and cross functional partners.
+ Working experience with materials, papers, inks, adhesives, print decoration and finishing techniques, ability to draft specifications around these items.
+ Availability for both domestic and international travel up to 20 percent of time.

+ At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,900 and $216,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apples discretionary employee stock programs.
