  • Hewing to the firm’s protocols for preparing for mediations and trials, ensuring all matters are thoroughly worked up to maximize each matter’s value.
  • Managing and closely monitoring all trials in a supervisory and advisory capacity, ensuring that all Trials have Trial Counsel serving as first chair.
  • Recording and entering daily productive time into the firm’s case management software.
  • Tracking weekly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for this position.
  • In conjunction and consultation with the Executive Team, evaluating the Legal Team and making recommendations for recruitment, hiring, promotion, and termination.
  • Ensuring at all times that the Legal Team is running efficiently and profitably.

  • Resolving any potential or actual claims against the firm within the allotted budget.

If the following statements describe you, then you may be our Managing Attorney & General Counsel:

  • You expect personal performance and team performance to be nothing short of the best.
  • You are trustworthy, do not cut corners ethically, earn trust and maintain confidences when appropriate, and, most importantly, do what is right, not just what is expedient.
