Heidelberg Materials North America operates more than 450 locations with approximately 9,000 employees in the U.S. and Canada.Key Targets of the RoleThis position is responsible for running the scales, offer product information, print tickets for customers and deliveries, answer phones, take standard FOB orders, perform general office duties, and provide courteous customer service.What You Will Get To DoOperate the scale by performing the following:Verify job assignments previously scheduled and attach scheduled trucks to the appropriate order numberNotify drivers of the product to be loaded as necessaryWeigh loaded trucks and print customers tickets for signatureMaintain radio communication with loader operators and drivers. Acts as the liaison between the drivers, dispatchers and load operators and relay pertinent information as neededAnswer phones, take orders, promote customer service, and help drop-in customersCollect CODs from drivers and FOB (Freight On Board) customers and record the informationProcess credit card sales by typing in required information into credit card machine and record the information onto the COD reportAssist with inventory by collecting and entering data into the system.Process the courier bags daily for shipment to the local administration officePrepare and run reportsinventory reconcilingBasic Cleaning at scale housePerform other duties and assignments as requiredEssential Experience and SkillsMust have high school diploma or general education degree (GED)Strong attention to detailExcellent customer service and communication skills: verbal, written, and electronicHighly dependable and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentSharp critical thinking and analytical skillsAbility and willingness to work additional hours as needed during peak periodsProficient PC skills, with experience in Microsoft Office and Outlook.Ability to write routine reports and correspondenceWhat we have to offerMedical, Dental, Vision, Health Saving Account (HSA), Health Reimbursement Account (HRA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Prescription Drug/Pharmacy benefit, AD&D, Short-Term & Long-Term Disability.
