Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
About Us: Our client is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse and Delivery Associate to join their team.
Key Responsibilities: - Shipping and Deliveries:
- Drive company trucks for deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Manually load and unload trucks (candidates must have no pre-existing back injuries).
- Maintain a clean driving record.
- Perform deliveries in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of trucks by washing and sweeping them regularly.
- Warehouse Duties:
- Manage trash and dumpsters effectively.
- Paint flagpole parts and perform light parts assembly.
- Maintain inventory and ensure accurate stock levels.
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently (forklift experience required).
- Use power tools for various tasks.
- General Requirements:
- Non-smoking.
- Pass drug and alcohol tests.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
- Demonstrate good typing skills.
- Exhibit strong math skills, including the ability to read a tape measure and work with inches, feet, and fractions.
Qualifications: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Forklift certification or significant forklift experience.
- Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
- Basic knowledge of power tools and their safe operation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in inventory management.
- Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements: - Must be able to lift, carry, and move heavy items regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Must have no pre-existing back injuries or conditions that would prevent manual labor.
