Today, I am recruiting for one of my great clients located east of Montreal, a systems administrator with 5-7 years of experience. The position is permanent, on-site mode and with great benefits.
Today, I am recruiting for one of my great clients located east of Montreal, a systems administrator with 5-7 years of experience. The position is permanent, on-site mode and with great benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Help desk management
* Respond to all problems and malfunctions, providing advice and
assistance as needed;
* Oversee the maintenance of a range of equipment ranging from workstations to
servers and networks.
Network Administration
network infrastructure, wireless infrastructure, switches and routers;
* Work with software and hardware vendors to resolve issues
techniques;
Database Administration
* Optimized performance and resource control of various databases
data;
* Communicate regularly with technical personnel, personnel in the
applications and operational staff to ensure the integrity and security of the database
of data;
* Commission and install new applications;
* In charge of backups, restores, installations and upgrades;
* Assist in the development of new projects and systems, when required.
IT Administration
* Supervise the installation, configuration and deployment of workstations (including
including software and operating systems, productivity software and
business applications that are associated with the company), servers, equipment
data center and security tools;
* Oversee troubleshooting and internal customer support;
* Perform needs analyzes for business projects involving IT;
* Research, price and recommend technology purchases for
projects and daily operations;
* Articulate technical requirements for departmental IT initiatives;
* Manage relationships with external companies for services, support and
questions regarding products, including contractors, developers and
other suppliers;
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
* University degree in computer science and/or related field
related or equivalent work experience);
* 5-7 years of experience in support, implementation and/or administration
Knowledge & Qualifications
* Familiarity with web tools and technology; understand the problems of
network; ideally have relevant server experience;
* In-depth practical and technical knowledge of systems-
networks, protocols and standards such as: Ethernet, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, VoIP,
Layer 2 switching, Layer 3 routing, etc.;
* Ability to work closely with IT project managers,
database programmers and web developers;
* Skills in project management and effective management of resources in
the execution of several projects;
* Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues and errors.

* In-depth understanding of hardware and systems, including the equipment of the
data center, servers, desktop computers, mobile devices,

* Writing documents in English: You will be responsible for writing reports, proposals or contracts in English
