Tact Staff is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Farmington, Connecticut. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Surgical Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/16/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Position Description: ORT Scrub Tech needed, Locals are accepted (75 miles or less) at lower BR, All time off required at time of submission. IVS TO AUTO OFFER. Shift: 8H Evenings 3-11:30 weekends, and holidays. No Block Scheduling. On call is at least 1 weekend per month. 30 min report time. Scrubs provided. Mandatory Overtime: During Personnel’s assignment with Client, he or she is considered part of the unit and will be included as part of the rotation pool of staff (i.e., Client employees and Personnel) who are required to work additional hours on an as-needed basis to ensure coverage for the unit. Required Upon Submission: Must have 4-5 years as a Scrub Tech or combined OR experience. SCRUB AND CIRCULATE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. Must be experienced in circulating and Must be able to perform independently, without assistance ORTHO, NEURO & SPINE. Associates degree from Surgical Tech Program or equivalent certification. Must have Epic experience. Required Upon Start: Active CT ORT cert is NOT required at time of submission, but they will need to get before they start.
