Job Description

Pump Truck Drivers (Non-CDL) are responsible for servicing customers' portable restroom(s) on assigned route(s). This position routinely requires extensive physical exertion and entering/exiting the truck approximately 100-200 times per day depending on the assigned route.
Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 5:00 am - 7:00 pm
Responsibilities of Position:

  • Operates truck in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Provides services to customers' portable restroom unit on assigned route(s) by pumping, washing, and restocking units.
  • Provides minor repairs to units on route and at facility.
  • Delivers and removes portable restroom units to/from customers.
  • Conducts pre-trip/post trip inspections and completes DVIR logs.
  • Maintains and updates drivers route sheets and/or work orders.
  • Professionally interacts with internal and external customers.
  • Repairs, cleans, and prepares portable restroom units for delivery, as needed.
  • Maintains a clean truck.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Abilities Needed for Position:
  • Ability to read and understand a map.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, including but not limited to sitting, reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing, and lifting).
  • Required to enter/exit the truck approximately 100-200 times per day, depending on the route.
  • General knowledge of mechanics of trucks.
  • Excellent truck driving/maneuvering skills.
  • Ability to pull a trailer preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
Physical Requirements in a Regular workday:
  • Frequently lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling a max of 75lbs.
  • Frequently stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling/Climbing and/or balancing.
  • Continuously working outside.
  • Continuously working in areas of dust, unpleasant odors, mist, gases, and other airborne matter.
Additional Working Conditions/Aspects:
  • Must have valid DOT Medical card or able to obtain prior to hire.
  • Must be at least 19 years of age.
  • No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years.
  • Must not have any DUI's or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years.
  • Possible exposure to high traffic conditions and/or tight driving areas.
  • Exposure to residential and commercial waste.
  • Continous exposure to unpleasant odors.
  • Exposure to human waste possible.
  • Exposure to extreme weather conditions possible.
  • Ability to travel between offices, as required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours; overtime, weekends for large events, and/or holidays.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Valid driver's license (if applicable).
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment testing.
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language.
