About the Opportunity
To support our ongoing growth, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Product Manager to lead one of our three Product Category teams. This position includes one direct report and reports to the Group Merchandise and Product Manager. In this hybrid role, you’ll have the flexibility to work between our Ballarat and Melbourne sites, with the option to base yourself in either location.
Responsibilities:
Customer Focus: Proactively refine and optimize our product range to meet evolving customer needs.
Category Strategy: Develop and implement category business strategies in line with our vision and goals, driving financial performance. Experience in industrial coatings or a similar industry is a plus.
Product and Range Management: Oversee the full product lifecycle, from market research and ideation to new product development (NPD) and third-party sourcing, including range analysis and clearance processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with R&D, marketing, and sales teams to drive seamless product launches and go-to-market strategies.
Sales Enablement: Equip the sales team with training, resources, and product materials to empower successful sales engagement.
About You:
We are looking for the right person to join our collaborative team in a dynamic working environment.
Qualification in Marketing or Business with 7+ years work experience.
Self-motivated, energetic and confident.
Strong in stakeholder and cross-functional engagement.
Hands-on and able to lead by example.
Significant project and timeline management capability.
Highly developed financial and data management and manipulation skills.
Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, technical and operations with in-depth knowledge of customer, competitive set and market developments.
