Alteo is looking for a PHP Developer for a permanent job based in Montréal (Ville St-Laurent).
Within a small team of passionate developers, the PHP Developer will help in the design and development of new features to improve the main Web application of the company.
Responsibilities:
Develop new features and maintain existing code
Participate in the analysis and design
Participate in the continuous improvement of the Web application
Profile:
DEC/BAC in IT, Software Engineering or equivalent
3+ years experience in web development with PHP
Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural pattern
Understanding of relational databases and competence in writing queries in MySql or SQL
Familiarity with PHP frameworks like Symfony or Laravel
Experience with older frameworks such as Silex or older versions of Symfony is a plus
Experience with Vue version 3 is a plus
Experience with e-commerce platforms (WordPress, Magento, PrestaShop) (asset)
Proficiency in Git version control system (asset)
Knowledge of Bash terminal (asset)
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate large projects efficiently (asset)
Ability to write simple, clean, and maintainable code, or a willingness to adhere to this coding philosophy (asset)
