The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Jefferson Einstein Montgomery, East Norriton, PA, is seeking a part-time (0.5FTE) AP/CP board certified pathologist.
Jefferson Einstein Montgomery, is the first completely new medical center to be built in the southeastern Pennsylvania region, including the city of Philadelphia, in at least a decade, opening in 2012. Jefferson Einstein Montgomery provides many new healthcare services and resources previously unavailable in the area including advanced medical and surgical care, diagnostic testing services, a neonatal intensive care unit, and 24 hour emergency care. Located on 87 acres along Germantown Pike in East Norriton, PA, Jefferson Einstein Montgomery brings the exceptional experience of Jefferson Einstein Montgomery to residents of central Montgomery County.
Fellowship training (Cytopathology or Gastrointestinal Pathology) and experience are preferred. Excellent communication skills and an ability to work effectively with others is required. Our group of 4 pathologists enjoys an excellent reputation, utilizes a generalist staffing model, and provides a full range of hospital-based anatomic and clinical pathology diagnostic services. Participation in several multidisciplinary conferences (i.e. Cancer Review Board, Breast Conference) is expected, and opportunities for teaching and collaborative research are available.
