Title: ER Physician for Aitkin, MN

Responsibilities:
  • Shift Length: 24 hour shifts and that is the max hours a provider may work in a row
  • Patient Volume: 30-40 patients in a 24-hour period, with an increase anywhere from 50-100 during the summer months. Annually: 7,130 patients
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR): EPIC Excellian; Dictation: Dragon
  • Trauma Level: III

Qualifications/Requirements
  • License: MN
  • DEA: Required
  • Board Certification: BE will be considered, EM preferred, FM and/or IM will be considered
  • Life Supports: ACLS and ATLS or CALS
  • Covid/Flu Vaccination: Required; exemptions may be filed

  • Schedule and Duration: PRN, weekend shifts, 8a-8a. The facility plans six months in advance
