Locums - Belton, Missouri, (Urgent Critical Need) Emergency Medicine OpeningClinical Role:

    • ASAP
    • Duration: 3 Months
    • Shift: 7a-5p, 1p-11p, 9p-7a or 7p-7a, 7a-7p
    • No Call
    • All standard ER procedures
    • Support Staff: No Peds, No Plastics, No Neuro IR, No Cath Lab, No OB
    • Average Patient Census: 81
    • Most Common Cases: Higher population of Level 4 and 5 patients. Do get sick patients which require intubation, central lines (have an ICU)
    • Annual ER Admissions: 12%
    • Robots Used: Neurology, Psychiatric
    • Locum need is for equivalent of 4 FTE
    • Urgent need as SMD is leaving at end of May and there will only be 2 FTEs remaining
    • Locum providers must be flexible to work days, nights and weekends
    • Preference is for locum providers to be open to working at main hospital as well as affiliated FSER's
    • Main hospital campus may consider less than 12hr shifts, affiliated FSED's require 12hr shifts
    • Must be BC in ABEM or AOBEM
    • Will consider FM or IM trained with EM experience
    • ATLS, ACLS, PALS - Required
