Customer Service Representative A local Erie company is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by managing customer payments and performing clerical functions. The ideal candidate will have a background in exceptional customer service and be able to work diligently and accurately.
Responsibilities - Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers via phone, email, and postal mail.
- Process data appropriately and accurately.
- Prepare maintenance changes to customer accounts.
- Operate mailing machine and maintain mailing records.
- Provide friendly, efficient in-person customer service.
- Route any incoming calls as needed to their pertinent departments.
- Follow all safety regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills - Basic phone etiquette and retail sales experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and build rapport.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with a multi-line phone system and/or switchboard.
- Familiarity with office equipment as well as basic computer skills.
