Actalent is currently hiring a quality technician with a premier client in the Elburn, IL area. We are ideally targeting individuals that have 3+ years of experience working as a quality technician. Job Description: Quality Technician Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role will be responsible for ensuring product quality for the site. The Quality Technician will assist with documenting product inspections throughout the product life cycle and help ensure continued compliance with regulatory, customer, and internal requirements and processes. Responsibilities Perform First Article Inspections - measuring the parts that come in from suppliers.Inspect mechanical, electronic, or optical parts and assemblies using various measurement and inspection tools.Support all inspection activities.Review and analyze supplier nonconformities to pursue corrective actions.Coordinate Material Review Board activities - reporting non-conforming material to suppliers.Document root cause analysis. Essential Skills Minimum of a HS Diploma or GED - Education Verification is required (Associate's Degree is preferred).3+ years of experience as a Quality Technician in an electronics manufacturing environment.Ability to read mechanical assembly drawings and complex dimensional drawings.Experience with inspection & measuring equipment - calipers, micrometers, gages, etc.Working knowledge of office suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc All qualified candidates please apply immediately as we are accepting applications.
