Job Description

A prominent defense firm seeks several attorneys at all levels, Associate and Counsel/Partner level with workers' compensation defense experience in California. Counsel and Partner level candidates do NOT need a book of business but MUST be based anywhere in California.


Firm offers a varied and sophisticated practice, growth opportunities and a flexible work culture. Fully remote or hybrid in any of their CA office locations.


Responsibilities:

  • File review and legal analysis of workers’ compensation claims
  • Extensive legal research and drafting of client correspondence, discovery devices, summations, appeals and appellate briefs
  • Regularly represent clients at depositions and hearings
  • Manage cases from start to finish


  • Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice in California
  • 2-12+ years' experience in workers' compensation


Salary range 130k-200k+ DOE + Comprehensive Benefits Package + Bonus
