The Opportunity Lonestar Forklift is looking for a service-oriented
Service Dispatcher to join our team in
San Antonio, Texas . In this role, you will play a critical role in the successful coordination of Service jobs, including scheduling and assigning work to Technicians, and ensuring that the services we provide meet or exceed the needs of our internal and external customers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities As the Service Dispatcher for Lonestar, your key responsibilities will include:
- Scheduling, coordinating, and assigning jobs for Service Technicians
- Managing new and ongoing work orders using an ERP system
- Utilizing the service scheduler to prioritize and schedule appointments
- Communicating with Service and Parts team members to ensure workloads are maximized, and customer needs are managed proactively
- Owning incoming leads using established programs and processes
- Maintaining ongoing and professional customer communication throughout the course of each repair job
- Managing the WIP Report and billing for customers, including reviewing invoice proposals for accuracy
- Ensuring adherence to all safety programs and initiatives, including programs for field workers, and ensuring any necessary incident reports are completed
Required Skills & Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:
- At least two years of dispatching and/or scheduling experience
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- A customer service mindset and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, planning skills, and multitasking ability
- Strong ability to think outside of the box to solve problems and satisfy customer needs
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

The base pay range for this role is: $21.50-$26.50 per hour, depending on experience.

San Antonio, Texas .
