We strive to provide not only superior technology and design, but also outstanding quality, service, and application support.Job DescriptionJob SummaryResponsible for transporting chemicals to and from the warehouse to the production areas.Responsible for inventory control and warehouse organization and cleanliness. Clean and prepare returnable tote bins for use in the Chemical Blend operation. Organize bins by type and clean status.Perform minor tote repairs and routine bin maintenance. DOT testing of totes to ensure the integrity of the bins.Duties & Responsibilities Receive instructions from the chemical operators, and pull the correct raw materials and deliver the requested quantities to the production areas.Using a forklift to clear the production areas of finished packaged goods and complete raw materials, and move them to a final storage location.Use of SAP scanner guns to electronically move material from the storage location to the production area and back into storage.Operate industrial fork truck to remove bins from tractor trailers, move and stack into inventory, move bins in and out of the cleaning bay.Unload bins containing liquids by connecting hoses to outlet connections.Use SAP to record bin numbers and change the status and locations of the bins in the system.Follow all guidelines and procedures in the Semi-Bulk Manual.Perform DOT pressure testing of certified bins.Perform minor tote repairs and routine bin maintenance.Perform general warehouse activities, such as opening containers and crates, filling warehouse orders, assisting in taking inventory, and weighing and checking materials.QualificationsEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent GEDRequired:Minimum of 6-month related batch chemical blending/ formulation experience with hazardous materialsMinimum of 6 months experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment which includes experience with hazardous materialsPreferred:Minimum of 1 year experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment which includes experience with hazardous materialsAbility to drive a fork truck and pass certificationExcellent communication and documentation skillsAttention to detail and numbers orientedStrong computer skills, including MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and the InternetTeam player, individual thinkerCustomer focused; positive attitudeMinimum 1 year analytical testing experiencePrior fork truck driving experience is desiredExcellent communication and documentation skillsWorking knowledge of SAPAdditional InformationWorking Conditions:Standing for 8-hour shifts.Lifting up to 50 lbs frequently.Working with hazardous chemicals.Working near moving machines.As an inclusive company, Veolia is committed to diversity and gives equal consideration to all applications, without discrimination.
