The Maintenance Mechanic will support daily production activities at our coil coating facility. The position will interact closely with all aspects of the manufacturing process from the raw material to the finished product. This is a hands on position that will be required to cover a variety of duties and responsibilities in this continuous operation.
Safely provide both preventive and reactive mechanical support of production equipment and building maintenance.
Diagnose, Troubleshoot and maintain all production line equipment associated with the process in order to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
Capture data and work completed in computer or in logbooks
Communicate, and work closely with management and the hourly folks in a team environment
Accountable for a clean, well maintained work environment.
Three (3) years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment with similar responsibilities
Welding, Fabrication, Rigging, Mechanical Repair of Industrial equipment
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Fully comply with all company and plant safety practices and policies
Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in non-temperature-controlled environment.
Flexibility and willingness to work an off shift and OT hours, possibly during the week or on weekends
Ability to perform math functions and comprehend complex verbal and written instructions
Pass pre-employment testing, (drug test, background check, mechanical aptitude testing)
