  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required

  • Emergency Department (ED) is a 74-bed department with 3-bed trauma bay and behavioral health secure unit.
  • ETCU is a 22-bed expansion of the ED for lengthy testing, consultation, or awaiting inpatient bed.
  • Med surg nurses will provide inpatient level care to inpatient holds in ETCU and be cross-trained for specific tasks in the ED.
    Job Requirements
  • Minimum Experience: 2 years
  • First time travelers not accepted
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts
  • Required experience in Level I Trauma
    Schedule Information
  • Shift is 3p-3a or 7p-7a
  • Every 3rd weekend
  • Holidays as needed
  • Floating as needed
    Unit Specific Information
  • ETCU is not an Express Admission Unit or holding unit
  • Med surg nurses provide inpatient level care in ETCU
  • Cross-training for ED tasks required
