Brown Health Medical Group, the affiliated partner of The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Radiation Oncologist to join our multidisciplinary team. This position offers the opportunity to work with world-renowned physicians and specialists across Rhode Island, The Miriam, Newport, and Hasbro Childrens Hospitals, delivering the most advanced cancer diagnosis and treatment options.
We are preparing to apply for NCI designation within the next 3-5 years, strengthening our commitment to clinical excellence and research.
Position Highlights
- Join a team of eight physicians, 17 medical physicists and dosimetrists, seven RNs, one NP, and 22 radiation techs
- Provide general radiation oncology services with the opportunity to develop subspecialty interests
- Participate in tumor boards at Rhode Island, Miriam, and Newport Hospitals (all within 40 minutes of each other)
- Academic appointment at Brown University with teaching opportunities for residents, medical students, engineering students, and medical physicist graduate students
- 2,000+ new patients treated annually
- Position includes 80 percent clinical work and 20 percent protected research/administrative time
- One of the busiest brachytherapy centers in the country
- Call schedule is 1:9 weeks, with residents taking first call
- State-of-the-art facilities with strong collaboration with engineering and public health schools
- Robust clinical trial portfolio and established research infrastructure
- This position does not support visa candidates at this time

- Market-competitive base salary + productivity bonus
