Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Inpatient Palliative Care Provider who is seasoned with  broad acute care experience managing a variety of disease states to join our interdisciplinary team at Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital. As an Inpatient Palliative Care Provider, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive palliative care to patients with serious illness, focusing on symptom management, communication, and support for patients and their families.

Qualifications:

• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Palliative Medicine
• Ability to obtain a Texas medical license or have a Texas medical license in good standing.
• Candidates with experience or new fellows are welcome to apply.
• Excellent clinical skills and ability to manage complex medical and psychosocial issues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
