The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for working closely with accounts to coordinate vehicles for sale, review work performed, ensure appropriate & timely sale line-up, and ensure effective operational flow.This position is for second shift from Friday through Tuesday. (12pm - 8pm)Manage account relationships, maintaining effective communications and ensuring customer requirements are met.Review and update condition report; approve and audit vehicle repair report.Walk vehicles to make recommendations for reconditioning to increase vehicle value.Provide quality service and assist in resolving problems. Respond to customer inquiries relating to vehicles.Communicate with Lot Operations and Recon departments to ensure appropriate movement of vehicles to the shops and ensure timely completion of reconditioning.In coordination with account representative, account administrator, and account specific procedures prepare sale vehicle presentation and verify certification/announcements.Work with lot operations for organization of account vehicles.Review vehicles in sale line up, locate missing vehicles, and work with account representative to ensure vehicles are ready for sale.Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence. Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline.OR 5 years' experience in a related fieldValid Driver's License and safe driving record required. Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission. Effective communication and organization skills required.Commitment to providing excellent customer service essential.PreferredPrior experience in vehicle reconditioning, general auto body knowledge, etc. helpful.Satisfactory computer skills and the ability to utilize a portable terminal, brick, etc. preferred. Work Environment:This is an outdoor role, meaning exposure to weather elements is to be expectedDrug TestingTo be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position.
