The Enrollment Coordinator is responsible for enrollment of eligible hospital patients into the Third Party Health Insurance Premium Payment Program (HIPP) at our Hospital partner in Pittsburgh. You will be responsible for all aspects of clearly presenting program requirements to interested patients and families as well as serving as a patient advocate. The Patient Helper Program helps high cost and medically complex Medicaid beneficiaries afford the cost of employer-sponsored health insurance utilizing this added Medicaid benefit. Develop and maintain relationships with patients, key hospital personnel and other appropriate individuals. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Nursing, Education, or Psychology preferred and Masters degree is preferred. Preferred five years of internal patient-related, hospital experience. Must be positive, enthusiastic, have a can-do attitude and enjoy working with a variety of people Demonstrated history of success in sales and healthcare is strongly preferred. Ability to speak English as well as Spanish is preferred. Fluency in Spanish a big plus Ability to be onsite most days and have an adaptive schedule to accommodate patients Must pass hospital credentialing including all vaccines, drug & alcohol testing Experience with Medicaid Preferred Interested in hearing more?
