Qualifications:
- Minimum of tenth grade education. High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must be sixteen years of age
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Massachusetts and have an active license
- Knowledge of growth and development across the life span required
Responsibilities:

This role involves comprehensive oversight of resident care, regulatory compliance, team supervision, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Key responsibilities include:
Patient Care Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding residents.
- Monitor and document residents' food and fluid intake, vital signs, weights, and skin conditions.
- Assist with mobility, turning, repositioning, and transferring residents, as well as handling incontinence care and toileting.
- Apply restorative devices, manage meal trays, and answer call lights promptly.
Safety and Health Standards:
- Identify and report safety hazards and emergencies, follow infection control procedures, and maintain cleanliness and order in resident areas.
- Ensure safe resident transportation, adhere to safety policies, and use proper body mechanics and equipment for lifting or moving residents.
Growth and Professionalism:
- Participate in facility education programs, present a neat and professional appearance, and work cooperatively with staff and residents.
- Show dependability and punctuality, assist others as needed, and effectively manage varying workloads.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Record incidents, resident care, positioning, and any unusual problems per facility procedures.
- Adhere to policies regarding resident rights, privacy, and confidentiality, and cooperate with interdisciplinary teams.
General and Non-Essential Tasks:
- Assist with new employee orientation, attend resident care conferences, and support resident admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Perform post-mortem care when required and accompany residents to off-site appointments.
