Student Transportation Inc. is North America's safest independent provider of school bus transportation services, with an industry-leading safety rating and the youngest fleet in the business. As a Charter driver, you will be responsible for transporting various clients to and from locations. Our ideal candidate will possess 2 + years of previous school bus driving experience along with a positive attitude and punctuality.
Responsibilities: - Transport clients to various locations.
- Ensuring safe transportation of all passengers on the bus.
- Ensuring the safe operation of vehicles and equipment.
- Providing friendly courteous service to our customers.
- Maintain compliance with all Student Transportation of America/ School Wheels Direct safety operating procedures.
- Maintain professionalism at all times.
Requirements: - Must be over the age of 21.
- Must have Class B CDL with school bus and passenger endorsement
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Maintain proper driving credentials..
- Must be professional and punctual.
- No more than 2 moving violations and 1 preventable accident in the past 3 years
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to adhere to all company safety standards and operating procedures.
- Passion for working with children.
