**Job Title: Inventory Specialist****Job Description**We are seeking a diligent and organized Inventory Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and signing for shipments, ensuring they contain the correct stock, developing systems to organize and maintain stock, and using inventory management software to maintain records. You will track ingoing and outgoing inventory, perform daily cycle counts, and report any discrepancies you are unable to reconcile.**Responsibilities**+ Receive and sign for shipments, ensuring they contain the correct stock.+ Develop systems to organize and maintain stock.+ Use inventory management software to maintain records.+ Track ingoing and outgoing inventory.+ Perform daily cycle counts.+ Report any discrepancies you are unable to reconcile.+ Process, package, and ship orders accurately.+ Organize stocks and maintain inventory.+ Inspect products for defects and damages.+ Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments.+ Organize warehouse space.+ Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items appropriately.+ Check, verify, and fill customer invoices.+ Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations.**Essential Skills**+ Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, small parcel shipping, and data entry.+ Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment (initially will not be operating forklift).+ Adequate knowledge of warehouse data systems.+ Team player with strong organizational skills.+ Ability to lift or move heavy products.**Additional Skills & Qualifications**+ Prior experience with material handling, picking, loading, and inventory control.**Work Environment**You will be working in multiple warehouses on our client site, primarily responsible for inventory tracking for the receiving side. Duties include moving equipment from one spot to the next in the manufacturing process. The work environment is non-climate controlled but very clean. The shift is Monday to Thursday from 6 am to 4 pm and Friday from 6 am to 2 pm. Currently, there is overtime, so you need to have openness in your schedule.
