A reputable oil & gas company headquartered in Colorado needs to hire a full-time maintenance technician to work on-site in Rock Springs, Wyoming immediately. While Roneli Staffing, LLC will be conducting the initial screening of applicants for this specific role, the oil & gas company ("Client") will be conducting the interviewing and hiring process.

OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with leading and driving Client's safety culture
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking repair manuals and parts catalogs as necessary
• Ensure safe and efficient production operations and maintenance activities utilizing safe work permits
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, including recommendations for cost control, savings, and improvements for production and operations
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, mobile elevated work platforms, backhoes, etc.
• Participate in the work order system and ensure the system is being utilized to document system failures and repairs
• Perform planned and unplanned well site and plant maintenance using basic power and hand tools
• Request vendor quotes and utilize the purchase order system to procure needed materials
• Work independently as well as part of a team to complete tasks
• Work with and oversee outsourced third-party service agreements vendors provide
• Work with other disciplines, such as engineering, to develop and execute projects in the plant and field
• Perform other duties as assigned

PREFERENCES, REQUIREMENTS, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• A high school diploma or GED
• A valid driver’s license
• Basic computer skills
• Local applicants living within one hour of the facilities in Wyoming are strongly encouraged to apply
• Must be able to become operator qualified to operate equipment such as forklifts, mobile elevated work platforms, excavation equipment, etc.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, respirator fit test, and motor vehicle background check
• The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, P&ID, As-built drawings, procedures, and manuals
• Welding, carpentry, and masonry skills are preferred, but not required.
